Terms of Use

These terms apply when you download, purchase, or use MurphSignal. By using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.
What MurphSignal does
MurphSignal helps you manually record third-party free trials and paid subscriptions, review expected costs, and schedule local reminders before a first paid date or renewal date.
MurphSignal does not discover charges, monitor email or financial accounts, contact a service provider, or cancel a trial or subscription. You are responsible for entering accurate information and cancelling directly with the relevant provider before its deadline.
Reminder limitations
Notifications depend on the date and lead time you enter, notification permission, device settings, system scheduling limits, time-zone behavior, and the availability of iOS. Delivery cannot be guaranteed. You should confirm important cancellation and billing deadlines with the provider and should not use MurphSignal as your only record of a payment obligation.
Free and Pro access
The Free plan can track up to two items in total, whether trials or subscriptions. MurphSignal Pro unlocks unlimited tracked items. Reminders, calendar, insights, health score, and eligible iCloud synchronization are included on both plans.
MurphSignal Pro does not include an introductory free trial. References in the app or website to “free trials” mean trials offered by third-party services that you choose to track.
Auto-renewing MurphSignal Pro subscriptions
Monthly and yearly Pro purchases are offered through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Your Apple Account is charged after you confirm a purchase. A Pro subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through Apple before the end of the current billing period. Apple controls billing, renewal timing, tax, refunds, regional availability, and cancellation.
Planned United States launch prices are US$2.99 per month and US$19.99 per year. Prices may vary by region or change before purchase; the price and billing period shown by the App Store at confirmation govern your transaction. You can manage or cancel Pro in your Apple Account subscription settings and restore eligible purchases from MurphSignal Settings.
Your records and acceptable use
You retain responsibility for the records and notes you enter. Do not use MurphSignal unlawfully, attempt to interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits, or use it to violate another person’s rights. Service names and logos belong to their respective owners; their appearance identifies compatibility and does not imply sponsorship.
iCloud and third-party services
Optional synchronization uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit. Purchases use the App Store and StoreKit. Those services are operated by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms and availability. Tracked service providers are independent from MurphSignal.
Availability and warranties
MurphSignal is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. Features can be interrupted by device, network, iCloud, App Store, or operating-system conditions. MurphSignal is an organizational tool, not financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the app, including a missed reminder, missed cancellation deadline, provider charge, lost record, or unavailable platform service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Suspension, changes, and contact
You may stop using the app at any time. Features or these terms may be updated for security, legal, platform, or product reasons. A material terms change will be reflected here with a new effective date and applies prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
