Privacy Policy

MurphSignal is designed to work without a MurphSignal account, advertising profile, inbox scan, bank connection, or developer-operated backend.

What you enter

You manually choose what to track. A record can include a service name, whether it is a third-party free trial or paid subscription, expected price, currency, billing cycle, first paid or renewal date, category, notes, status, and reminder preferences.

MurphSignal does not discover trials automatically, read Gmail or another inbox, connect to a bank or card account, inspect accounts you hold with other services, or cancel anything on your behalf.

Where records are stored

Records and app settings are stored on your device. When iCloud is available and enabled for MurphSignal, Apple CloudKit can synchronize eligible records through your private iCloud database. The MurphSignal developer does not operate a server that receives or browses this database.

Notifications

First-charge and renewal notifications are calculated and scheduled on your device from the dates and reminder lead times you enter. MurphSignal does not upload your tracked-item list to deliver those reminders. Notification availability and delivery are controlled by iOS settings and system conditions.

Purchases

Apple processes MurphSignal Pro purchases. The app uses StoreKit 2 to request products, complete purchases, verify signed transactions, restore access, and observe entitlement changes. MurphSignal does not receive your full payment-card details and does not send purchase history to a third-party purchase SDK or developer-controlled purchase server.

Service icons and network access

Supported service icons are bundled with the app. Other services receive a letter avatar generated on device. MurphSignal does not request remote favicons, and it does not contact a tracked provider when you add, edit, pause, or delete an item.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

MurphSignal contains no advertising SDK, cross-app tracking SDK, or developer analytics SDK. Apple may process App Store, device, diagnostic, or iCloud information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies; those platform activities are not controlled by MurphSignal.

Retention, deletion, and control

You can edit or delete individual records in the app. “Delete All App Data” deletes tracked records, MurphSignal-owned pending reminders, onboarding state, and local app settings. When iCloud synchronization is available, record deletions are submitted to your private CloudKit database and can take time to propagate across devices. App Store purchase records remain with Apple and may be restorable.

Deleting MurphSignal data does not cancel a third-party free trial or subscription. You must cancel directly with its provider.

Children

MurphSignal is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated service.

Changes and contact
